North Coast Group Training (NCGT)
North Coast Group Training (NCGT) is regarded as the regions leading Group Training Company. Established in 1987 the core business of NCGT is the selection, induction and employment of Apprentices and Trainees and their placement with selected Host Employers.
NCGT manages the employment of 100 Apprentices and Trainees across the North Coast located from Yamba in the North to Macksville in the South.
About Group Training
Group Training Companies employ Apprentices and Trainees and then places them with ‘Host Employers.’ This arrangement frees the Host Employer from the burden of paperwork, payroll, as well as providing a safety net for the Apprentice or Trainee who is assured of continuous work and training. Group Training provides an advantage to Host Employers allowing for flexible staffing arrangements to meet peak workloads and seasonal variations.
Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
The wellbeing of Trainees and Apprentices in the workplace is of paramount importance to NCGT. We undertake health and safety audits of all Host Employers at no cost to them and where needed provide ongoing support to assist the implementation of changes that enhance workplace safety. During induction of Apprentices and Trainees OH&S is a priority, ensuring that when commence their employment with a Host Employer they are safety conscious and ready to work.
